Summer Books for Preschoolers

Summer is here! That means loads of sunscreen, swimming and of course summer reading.

We’re getting ready to head to Kindergarten in just over a year so we’re attempting to do 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten! We signed up 2 months ago at our local library and have a long way to our goal. You can read any book or you can read the same book over and over. Any book counts as 1. Once you hit certain milestones, take your sheet into the library and claim a prize.

This summer we’ll be reading books when we’re not in the pool because 1,000 feels like a lot of reading to do in just over a year!
