Of course in parenting there are a lot of curve balls thrown at you. From forgetting diapers on vacation to long and late nights of no sleep, parenting is never a dull moment.
Our First Double Ear Infection
My now 3 year old son always found a way to be sick late in the night when all the stores closed and when we hadn’t restocked our medicine for him. Time after time, my husband would make his way to our local 24 hour Walgreens because it was the only store open late and always had TYLENOL® for our son to help with his fever.

When my son was about 10 months old, right before Christmas, he came down with a double ear infection but his fever didn’t start until late in the day. And I mean LATE. He was ready for bed but wouldn’t settle. Suddenly he felt warm and we knew something was up.
We didn’t know it was a double ear infection at the time but his temperature reached 104. As new parents we were extremely concerned because this was his first real fever. I sent John out to the store immediately.

Back to Walgreens we went to help bring our boy a little bit more comfort. We double checked with our pharmacist that his prescribed medicine could also be used with both medicines. There’s always a helpful employee around and my favorite part is they recognize our family and give the kids a big smile and wave.

In addition to preparing for cold and flu season with Walgreens, we use Walgreens for everything in between including teething comfort for our sweet girl. She really goes through it with teeth. First, two popped through at one time. Okay, we got this. The last time? Four. At once. Right now she’s working on five at the same time. Again.

Now that my daughter is here, we have been doing a better job at heading to Walgreens in advance and staying ahead of the game. We make notes to ourselves to pick up our go-to brands when we head to the store.
Walgreens always has everything we need for whatever the kids or life throw our way. Can’t get out to the store? I recently discovered Walgreens delivers via Postmates. When you have a clingy crying baby and it seems impossible to pack the kids up and get out to the store, Walgreens is still there with delivery.
