My husband says my favorite ingredient to cook with is Buffalo sauce.

I might give him an eye roll every time he says it, but he’s not wrong.

It’s definitely a go-to of mine at restaurants if I am unsure of what to get because I know I’ll like it and I know it’s easy on calories. We always have Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce on hand at home. It’s great on sandwiches and salads. It’s the perfect food, change my mind.

Ingredients for Low Carb Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps

  • Shredded Chicken: I boil a chicken breast and shred it using my stand mixer. You can shred using forks as well. You can also use any chicken you might have – canned or rotisserie from the grocery store.
  • Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce: You can buy the Buffalo version instead.
  • Romaine Lettuce Hearts: These are typically prepackaged and are perfect for any wrap sandwich. You can also swap out for any kind of green you may have on hand.
  • Bleu Cheese Dressing
  • Grape Tomatoes, sliced: You can use any type of tomato!
  • Red Onion, sliced

How to Make Low Carb Buffalo Chicken Wraps

  1. Prepare your chicken breast how you choose and shred. You can use canned shredded chicken, rotisserie chicken, or boil and shred your own.
  2. Add chicken breast, 1/2 c. Frank’s Red Hot, 1/2 c. Blue Cheese, 2 tbsp Cream Cheese.
  3. Add buffalo chicken mixture to your romaine lettuce heart.
  4. Top with cherry tomatoes and red onion. Drizzle a little blue cheese over the top or sprinkle cheddar cheese if you choose.
  5. Enjoy.

  • 3 oz Chicken Breast shredded
  • 1 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Light Blue Cheese Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot Original Sauce can use Buffalo version
  • 4 leaves Romaine Hearts
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes can use other tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 Red Onion sliced
  • Blue Cheese or Shredded Cheddar to top optional
