It’s raining. The weather is miserable. You need to wait for the cable man. It’s time to find some indoor activities with a toddler before you all lose your mind.

Let’s be honest. The thought of being cooped up indoors with no place to escape to is hard. Coming up with a bunch of ideas to fill an entire day can be a monumental task.

Toddlers are hard, man.

If I don’t have some kind of plan, the wheels can fall off the train before noon. And no one wants that.

I’ve been there. With winter coming up, it’s really important that I get together a list of indoor activities with a toddler before a big snow storm hits and we’re stuck.

  1. These are great suggestions! It was raining when we woke up today, so I thought we were going to be inside all day! It cleared up, thankfully, but now I’ll have some ideas so we don’t go crazy πŸ™‚

  2. You potentially saved me this winter! I’ll be having my second girl in January and will be home in the dead of Chicago winter with my baby and 2-year-old. I’ve been wondering how we will survive, but now I have tons of great ideas : )

  3. The key is definitely to let your imagination flow on these days lol. Thanks for sharing, I was actually looking for a list like this since it’s starting to get cold and rain here.

  5. I needed this! My toddler and I have been sick for almost 3 weeks now and since the weather is miserable we have had some serious cabin fever. Printing this out and going to knock off a few of these ideas today. Thanks for sharing!
