I was provided an Ergobaby Omni 360 baby carrier to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
I love the Ergobaby brand. I’ve used Ergobaby products since the birth of my son and it was the first affiliate program I signed up for when I started this blog.
I was so excited to receive this carrier and couldn’t wait for our daughter to be born to test it out. It’s redesigned and really hits all of the marks that I didn’t know I needed.
My Favorite Features Of The Ergobaby Omni 360
So Long, Newborn Insert
With my last Ergo carrier, I had to purchase a newborn insert. No need with the new Ergobaby Omni 360. This carrier is ready to go with a few adjustments for your newest little one. I love the neck pillow the carrier has.
A newborn insert is pretty bulky and the neck pillow is a great feature. I’m not worried about my girl’s head rocking all around in the carrier.
You can adapt the carrier according to your child’s weight, which is amazing.
Hello Storage Pouch!
Where has the storage pouch been all my life?!
We recently toured the White House for the holiday season and we were not allowed to bring in any kind of bag. With the storage pouch, I added a few newborn sized diapers and wipes in a baggie and in we went.
The storage pouch can also fit my cell phone and doesn’t bounce all around. With my old carrier, I had to use my bag or pockets and figure out a way to get into said pocket while carrying. I love being able to be hands free and have my phone right in front of me.
I haven’t had the chance to try this yet but it was one of the features I was missing on my original Ergobaby carrier. My daughter is a bit young for it but I can’t wait until she’s old enough to try it out! With other carriers, I felt like my son was missing in all the photos. He was covered by the carrier and facing me! Being able to face forward, my daughter will be in more photos while we’re out and about.
Breastfeeding In The Carrier
One of the main reasons I baby wear is to be able to breastfeed while doing other things.
Our plates are so full and we’re pulled in 1,000 different directions. I love being able to feed my daughter while we’re up and around the house or outside OR when I am hanging out on the floor playing trains with my toddler.
The Omni 360 offers a few new features for comfort.
- Crossable Shoulder Straps: It’s more comfortable on your back AND you’re able to get in and out of the carrier by yourself.
- Waistband Support: The lumbar support provided by the waistband is so much better on your back. Especially for older kids. I haven’t worn my son in a few months due to pregnancy and not being cleared by the doctor, but my husband does and he loves the additional support carrying him around.
